UX/Interaction Designer
We are a team of 12 designers working on Divar (Including two verticals). UX researchers, Interaction Designers, UX/UI Designers, UX Engineers, and a Design System Manager.
Divar’s users submit hundreds of thousands of ads every month and their ads get reviewed by the Review team or our review Bots. user's ads get rejected because the ads in the images need rotation or need to have the standard ratio. Users also had hundreds of feedbacks requesting the ability to edit the images before submitting them. hiding a part of the image was another problem. Users need to hide their car plates for example.
When I'm submitting my ad, I want to edit my images in the process, so I can submit my ad faster and don't get rejected because of the image issues.
500 thousands of users submitting different ads every day with different backgrounds & knowledge in different ad categories.
Make it fast, easy and as simple and possible for users to Crop, Rotate or Brush any part of the image in the ad submission process.
Because mobile devices have small screens, an in-app photo editor can’t include all the tools together. Biderectionality, Localization, system-wide consistency.

I did a competitor analysis to identify common tools and design patterns in photo editing apps to structure our image editor Information Architecture. To simplify the learning process for novice users, we needed to use common design patterns. We didn't want to make it another confusion for them to edit the photo in the submission process.
